We are certified by the International Code Council (ICC) to perform building plan review and inspections on privately or publicly owned facilities for compliance with the International Codes or I-Codes (IBC, IECC, IMC, NEC, IPC), including third-party energy code review and inspection.

We are also licensed to perform plan review and inspection services for the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) for compliance with the Texas Accessibility Standards.

Accessibility (ADA, ANSI, TAS, FHA)

We review proposed plans for facilities to ensure compliance with accessibility rules and regulations by identifying obstacles limiting accessibility; by preparing written findings and describing methods for removing barriers and/or making facilities accessible; by specifying the timetable for achieving compliance; and by monitoring the progress of the project according to schedule.

We evaluate facilities to determine whether they are accessible to persons with disabilities and to investigate complaints by conducting or arranging for on-site surveys and inspections; and by identifying problems and recommending modifications.

Education/Training

We conduct training on multiple topics related to compliance with the multiple building codes, guidelines, and standards.

Energy Conservation (IECC)

We are pleased to offer Energy Conservation Consultation Services. We are certified by the International Code Council (ICC) to perform architectural plan review(s) and inspections on privately or publicly owned facilities for compliance with the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC).

The intent of the IECC states, “This code shall regulate the design and construction of buildings for the effective use of energy. This code is intended to provide flexibility to permit the use of innovative approaches and techniques to achieve the effective use of energy. This code is not intended to abridge safety, health or environmental requirements contained in other applicable codes or ordinances.”

We perform highly advanced research, evaluation, project management, consultative, technical assistance, and conducts training on energy conservation related to compliance with the multiple energy codes, guidelines, and standards, including the IECC and ASHRAE 90.1.

Facility Assessments

We evaluate facilities to determine compliance with the multiple building codes, guidelines, and standards, conducting or arranging for on-site surveys and inspections; and by identifying problems and recommending modifications.

Green Building (IgCC/Dallas Green Building Ordinance)

We perform highly advanced research, evaluation, project management, consultative, technical assistance, and conducts training on sustainability related to compliance with the green building codes, guidelines, and standards.

The IgCC, provides minimum requirements to safeguard the environment, public health, safety and general welfare through the establishment of requirements that are intended to reduce the negative impacts and increase the positive impacts of the built environment on the natural environment and building occupants.

Third Party Code Compliance (TEA)

We perform highly advanced research, evaluation, project management, consultative, technical assistance, and conducts training on energy conservation related to compliance with the multiple building codes codes, guidelines, and standards.
